    Jesus Alberto Mederos was born on March 4, 1969, in Matanzas.

  • Begins Art School 1984

    Mederos starts his studies at the National School of Art, before his studies are interrupted in 1985, due to illness.

  • Graduates in Matanzas 1986

    Mederos graduates from the Instructors of Fine Arts Course in Matanzas.

  • Begins Teaching 1986-1987

    Mederos takes a position as a professor at the Center for Fine Arts.

  • Becomes Consultant 1988-1992

    Mederos becomes a consultant and works in various artistic creation workshops around Matanzas.

  • Lorem Occaecat. 1991

    Mederos takes a special course of art instructors for ceramics, painting and drawing at Isla de la Juventud.

    Started as an independent artist.

    Founds the arabesque Matanzas Group.
